We manufacture and supply a variety of different belts and sashes to armed and uniformed forces throughout the Caribbean. From webbed belts, to leather Sam Browne belts, cross belts, sword belts and shoulder belts, Active Gear has been supplying these items throughout the Caribbean from inception.

We are a leading Caribbean supplier to the Police Services, The Military, The Fire Services, Correctional Services, The Industrial Security Community and Uniformed Youth Groups of many of their Belts & Sashes.

The aforementioned are our primary markets to whom we supply  webbed belts for soldiers, sailors and cadets, to leather Sam Browne belts, cross belts, sword belts and shoulder belts. Although we manufacture and supply belts in accordance with the individual needs of each member of our primary market throughout the Caribbean, the company’s scope of manufacture is not limited to our primary market.

If you have a belt requirement, no matter what the industry, then we are happy to quote and produce samples.

Webbed belts are simple, standard issue waist belts that consist of a length of tipped polypropylene webbing with a gold or silver buckle on the end.

Sam Browne belts typically take the form of wide leather belts that fastens around the waist and across the shoulder. Originally used for carrying a sword or pistol, today they’re reserved for Officers and Warrant Officers Class 1 of the British Army and Royal Marines for formal Number 2 dress and occasionally Number 1 dress.

Stable belts are made from wide and coloured, often striped webbing, with the colours denoting the regiment, corps or training unit. In fact, every single regiment and corps of the British Army has its own stable belt.
